Ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment is crucial. All community members must recognize and uphold their roles and responsibilities within the group.
The team explicitly reserves the right to revise these guidelines at any time to meet the evolving needs and expectations of all members.
RPM is about people having fun together, not competing over stats. Keep that in mind when you interact with others.
Jokes or banter can easily be misunderstood online and end up hurting someone's feelings. Think about how your words might be perceived.
If someone asks a question, try to help them out. You'd appreciate it if the roles were reversed.
Avoid sharing personal information (e.g., address, phone number) in a public forum. You never truly know who might be reading.
The rules listed here are not exhaustive, and exploiting loopholes to breach the spirit of these guidelines may still result in disciplinary action.
No insulting, discriminating, or harassing content: Any form of hate speech, racist or sexist remarks, bullying, threats, or deliberate attempts to belittle others is strictly forbidden.
Appropriate content: Usernames, avatars, and posts must not contain explicit, extremely disturbing, political, or religiously polarizing content, nor any NSFW material or offensive language.
No unauthorized promotions: Advertising personal projects or social channels is prohibited unless explicitly approved (e.g., certain fan art exceptions).
Impersonation is forbidden: Do not pretend to be staff or an official partner.
Account abuse: Creating multiple or fake accounts to bypass penalties or manipulate posts/reactions is not allowed.
Avoid spam: This includes multiple consecutive posts with no additional value, repetitive “bump” messages, excessive use of capital letters, or meaningless short replies.
Tagging/pinging: Randomly mentioning members—especially those who requested not to be tagged—is discouraged.
Trolling & witch-hunting: Intentionally provoking, creating conflicts, or organizing a group to target specific users or groups is strictly forbidden.
Correct categories & clear titles: Always choose the proper forum section and use descriptive titles so topics can be found easily.
No necroposting: Avoid reviving threads older than 30 days if you have no meaningful contribution.
Maintain content quality: Avoid plagiarism, copy-paste memes without context, or pointless “rage posts.” Ensure your post genuinely adds value to the discussion.
No public discussion of penalties: Disputes regarding punishments must follow the official appeal process. Publicly criticizing or gathering support against a penalty is not allowed.
No backseat moderating: Please leave enforcement to official staff. Report violations instead of confronting them yourself in public.
Decisions are final: Once an appeal is reviewed, the verdict is binding unless staff decides otherwise.
Avoid public condemnation: Do not publicly shame individual members for their actions. Respectful critique of well-known public figures is allowed, but personal attacks are not.
Leaving/quit threads: Posting publicly about leaving the community often leads to disagreements or spam. If you plan to leave, inform others privately or through personal channels.
No political or religious debates: These issues can be highly divisive and are not permitted in public forums. Brief mentions of personal beliefs in profiles are fine, but avoid extensive discussions or debates.
No real-world currency transactions: Giveaways or trades involving in-game items, real money, or other currencies are not allowed.
External services: Commissions for art or other services using real money are disallowed. Any trading must remain within the same game’s economy (if permitted at all).
Misuse of reactions/likes: Intentionally boosting posts, “solution” flags, or reactions, as well as spamming reactions to harass others, is forbidden.
Misleading content: Spreading false information, faking quotes, or pretending to post official announcements (e.g., fake patch notes) is prohibited.
Abusive accounts: Accounts created solely for trolling, punishment evasion, or manipulating the community are subject to immediate suspension.
Community protection: The team reserves the right to remove or modify content and enforce penalties if these rules are violated.
